What would be the best pen to sign a rugby ball with? Thaks!

A sharpie or a good marker pen that won't rub off.

Unless you are familiar with the type of leather used for the ball, I would suggest you don't get one signed. If the ball was made with cheap leather the autograph might "bleed out" and fade away. I would first find out where the ball was made and what grade of leather was used. I do know one thing -- if it's made in China, do not get it signed. The leather they use is way inferior and you will be left with nothing but an ink stain within a year or so. At least that is what happened to my baseballs that were made in China. Using a sharpie will make the autograph last longer but it will bleed out eventually.

I think my one, a Gilbert World Cup 2003 rugby ball is made in England and is of a high standard.
