Lots of folks on here send index cards; some celebs don't like signing them, though.

I've started printing out photos on the color printer at work; they usually turn out ok and there is often plenty of white space for the person to sign. Not as nice looking as a professionally printed photo, but I'm not planning on selling these anyway so it doesn't matter that much to me.

I've also sent trading cards and DVD inserts.

WildChild96 has whoever she (nuts, I assume she's a gal...maybe not!) writes to sign on the letter she sends, which I think is a pretty neat idea.

Yes, sending index cards is a good alternative!! I grew bored of sending plain ones, so I learned graphic design and make my own 4x6 custom cards which I've gotten a lot of good responses from. I've even had one celeb ask if I could make copies of the unsigned version and send him 50 of them! Check out my collection below to see examples of my cards:

www.statesidestills.com sells 6x4 prints so that cuts down on return postage costs. Prices and shipping are very reasonable, better than Movie Market and Spencers Celebrity 8x10's.
