Okay so I'm sending an A4 envelope with 2 8X10's in a plastic top loader to the US and the person I'm sending to doesn't reply if you include IRC's for return postage, so here are my questions:

1. If I buy US Forever stamps, will they be okay for return postage back to the UK?
2. How many to I put on the envelope?

Yes, US Stamps should work for return postage to UK. I'd need to know how much it weighs though before caculating postage.

Also as a caution, be sure and specify in your letter that they take the photos out of the top loader before signing them, as most will just sign the top loader and not the actual photo. I've seen this happen on several occasions.

That's why I don't normally send my items in protective holders and instead use sturdy cardboard envelopes. {up}

If you check out www.usps.com they have a price calculator. US mail prices are determined by both size and weight.

Hey, put 12 stamps on there and that should be suitable. The cost is $4.90 (priority mail).

Forever stamps are find to use. They are currently worth 0.44 each so make sure you have enough to cover the cost.

The cost of the envelope depends on how much it weighs. I think 2 8X10s is about 3 or 4 onces.

3 ounces is 2.92 to the UK (7 Forever stamps)
4 ounces is 3.76 to the UK (9 forever stamps)

I hope this helps.
