makes sense, that you.. i have 1 more question in regards to sending LOR's to celebritys... do you need to include a picture, or would a SASE large enough for a picture be enough for them to include their own picture?

It really depends on the celebrity. Especially if you are sending to a home address a lot of celebs don't just have photos laying around to send out. I always try and send at least one photo. Or you can buy blank cards on ebay that are really cool looking. They are the size of a baseball card and meant for autographs.

Here is an example of one of the 'autograph cards' :)

To elaborate on what countpaul said, this is where research is essential. If you look at Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Colbie Callait, they send out there own signed photos and do not sign anything sent in. Where as with Slash, if you do not send something in, you get a pp. I would always send something, even if it is just an index card. If you don't have index cards, and for whatever reason cannot get pictures, try sending cd or dvd cover.

Thank jaffer {up}. I agree you have to do some research, :) and that is why I also suggested the cards because I think they're a little nicer then just a 3x5 but again, that's just me...its all in the collectors preference.
