When I've written to the UK (and this is sending a 9x12 envelope, letter, sometimes a photo, and another 9x12 inside), it usually costs me between $2.10 and $2.30.

The easiest thing to do is just take your item to your local post office, have them weigh it and they can tell you the cost.

Oh yeah, duh You can do that at those automated kiosks too, so you don't have to get in line.

See, the little old lady gets something right every now and then.

Or practically all mail companies have online calculators to show you the cost.

It depends on what you are sending. Just a letter? Letter and SASE? Letter, SASE and photo? They all weigh different amounts so it costs different. Let me know what you plan to send (include sizes of SASE and /or photo) and I can look it up for you.

P.S. It will cost the same amount to go to Australia and New Zealand as long as you are sending the same type items.

It's just a normal enveloped letter.

A normal size envelope with just a letter inside will be 0.98 in stamps to go to the UK or Australia. Good luck with your requests!
