Hi Fanmail.biz,
I'm newer. I've got most of this down, I've already received things bakk! Good, right?
Well then, why am I bothering you here? Because there are somethings I don't understand.
For one, what's the best type of SASE to use? I've tried smaller envelopes for cards, #10 envelopes, and bigger envelopes. So far, every type has worked except the SASE. I'm younger, and my mom get's mad if I spend to much money on these. So what should I use for the best results?
For two, {up} I'm starting to use Via Venues. For VV's, most suggest sending your OWN picture. my pictures all consist of cheep blurry copies from Microsoft word, or paint, and the occasional magazine photo. Many of you suggest printing them online, but how?
I'm not sure about how to print them online, and if someone could please teach me! I've already looked through forums, and I'm still confused, so please don't send me a link to one!
Sincerely,
KM

Chances are the reason your pictures are coming out blurry is because the files are too small for whatever size you are printing them. When you copy a file from the internet to your computer, check the properties. Make sure they are in your "My Pictures" folder and when you mouse over the file, a window on the lower left should drop open telling you the properties of the files.

You'll see something like this: "Dimensions: 434x642" That means that it is roughly big enough to print out as a 4x6 inch photo but too small for a larger size. If you try to print it out at a larger size it will come out blurry.

Generally speaking, here's the sizes you will need to print out a photo:
4x6 -- 400x600
5x7 -- 500x700
8x10 -- 800x1000

As for printing them out online, it's really easy. You should go to the Walmart site and play around with it until you get familiar with it. You can order prints, check things out and then cancel your order if you are not satisfied. So you won't have to worry about something getting charged to you and no one will holler at you.
