http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/4 ... rotectors/

i found them on the Office Depot website, and they're acid free and archival quality, which is what everyone says is the best, so i just wanted to make sure they're great for storing autographs before i went out and bought them.

any help is appreciated! thanks!

What I look for is acid-free/archival safe and you can see under the 3rd bullet it's listed. I may have to pick these up as I didn't know office depot carried these. They're just about the only office store relatively close to me.

Those are good for semi-cheap storage, but I would suggest top-loaders for long term once you have the money to blow.

Forgive me if I sound like a bit of a snob, but toploaders are best for storing autographed photos. Using the cheap thin sheet protectors only gives minimal protection. They can easily get warped or bent out of shape, even in a binder. I keep all photos 5x7 and larger in Ultra-Pro top loaders for the best protection. Only if I'm not concerned with the well-being of the photo do I put them in pocket pages or sheet protectors.

However, if that's the way you want to go, that's fine. Make sure you store the notebook flat on its side, not standing upright.

You can find them at comic book stores, sports hobby shops, collector conventions/shows, or even on eBay. Your best bet for cheap prices would be at a show, that's where I try to buy mine since I usually get the best deals there. It's best to buy them in bulk if you can.
