Questions from a "first timer"

Hello everyone,

I am about to send my first group of autographs out which doesn't involve "in person" and I have a few questions. They may seem really basic but it will help me.

1. Obviously I need to put postage on the outer envelope to send to the Via venue or agency, but do I also but postage on the envelope the celebrity will use to return the items to me (sase) or do I include stamps inside the SASE?
2. Would I put my items I wish to send and my letter inside the outer envelope or inside the SASE?
3. If I wanted to have something signed by more than one member of the same cast using the same addres, do I have to send something to everyone individually to the same address?

I think this is all for now but I may reply with more later. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Put stamps on the envelope you're sending for your SASE. It just makes it easier for the celeb.

2. I usually put my pictures and letter in the outer envelope. Again, makes it easier for the celeb, especially if they or their secretary just dumps out the contents.

3. I would write a letter and send it individually to each cast member, to that address. This way, you can make sure it's getting directed to the proper person and it doesn't look like you're just trying to get a bunch of autographs from the same place.

Good luck!

Never put loose stamps in an envelope - as they will somehow get lost in transit. Always have return postage attatched to the envelope with your name and return address on.

Always place your goods to be signed in the outer envelope.

Always write to one individual cast member - you could mention your goal to have that item signed by the cast...there is a chance the actor may pass it along eps if it's via venue.
