Hi, next week Hilary Duff will be in Belgium to promote her new book Elixir.
She will be holding a booksigning for an hour and half in a shopping mall, but I was wondering, will she only sign her book? Or are you allowed to bring your own pictures so she can sign both her book and a picture?
I haven't been to a booksigning yet, and it's an hour drive for me so I want to be prepared

Most book signing only allow you to get the book signed, but they do make exceptions and I've seen people get photos signed too. Have fun!! I've wanted a Hilary Duff autograph for a long time!

some places r picky about that kinda thing.
my friend went to a book signing for SNOOKI and
they gave my friend a little piece of paper while
she was in line that said "u can only get your book
signed" so be prepared so if they wont let you get
a photo signed to bring $$ to buy a book...

I emailed the shopping mall about the same time I posted my question, didn't expect a reply until at least tomorrow (it was around closing time so didn't expect anyone to reply) But when I check my email just now they replied with:
"The management of Hilary Duff is very strict, only her new book Elixir will be signed."

A Bit dissapointed now... I'm a photocollector and even though I'm a big fan of Hilary Duff since she was Wendy in Casper meets Wendy and movies like Raise your voice , I'm still hesitating because it'll be (at least! if there is no traffic at al) a bit more than an hour drive (I know this seems not much but driving in Belgium is sometimes dramatic) on my own, skipping a college class that is mandatory...

I'm on the fence right now...

And if I was living alone I would 'live on the edge' but I'm still living with my parents, and they're paying for my education, for my gas for my car... I will have to get a note from my doctor to excuse me for class... (pay for a visit there) drive up to the mall... buy the book...
I'm gonna check my savings but its a lot for just a signed book in my opinion... if I got the pictures too, immediatly...

how much is it for a signed book? it cant be that much....
and its only ONE DAY, its not that big of a deal..
do what u want but dont regret it..!

well... around 20 euros for the book, 25 for the doctor appointment, and then gas... I think I'll at least use quarter of my tank, thats 15 again... that makes at least 60 euros and thats around 80$

and then its not even sure there'll be enough time for everyone to get their autographs too
