How much is it to send this...

I live in the UK and i have got 4 american stamps worth $1.90 I am just wondering I will be writing to somebody in the USA soon so I was wondering how much worth of stamps do you need to put on a A4 Envelope.And i have heard you do not have to pay for airmail is this correct?

Assuming it's for a single 8x10, you would need $2.08 to cover it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "not have to pay for airmail".

B) Somebody told me you do not have to pay for air mail you just send it of is this true?

It depends on the weight of the SASE and items being returned, the envelope size only tells us the classification. It is true that there is no extra charge for airmail. All mail leaving the US and going overseas is sent that way now, including mail to the UK.

my letter is about 1.7ounces that would be free airmail but how much worth of stamps would i need?

As previously mentioned, you'll need $2.08 to cover it.

I'm still not sure what you mean by "free airmail". Airmail is the cheapest option to get ship something out of the US, but it isn't free.
