You're sending a request from the UK to the US for Katy Perry ...
Therefore, you'll need to include a SASE with American stamps, and your envelope addressed to Katy with UK stamps (you had it the wrong way around in your post).
I'm not familiar with the exact postal rates for the UK or US, but you can check out their postal calculators for the respective countries. Postage will depend on the size/weight of your envelopes:
United States Postal Service: a 1oz standard letter to the UK is $0.98
Royal Mail: a 10g letter to the US is £0.67
Obviously, the postal price increases depending on weight - so check the calculator.

What size envelopes are you sending, and what are their approximate weights?
10g for an outgoing letter with return envelope and photo(s) is going to be tricky, particularly if you're sending a bit of card to stop it getting bent.
You need to watch the size of the envelope for the return journey from the US.
If you're sending a small photo, you can send it from the UK to the USA in a standard C5 envelope, but a C5 envelope is slightly too large to come back from the US by the cheaper rate, so you really do need to watch the dimensions of the envelope you're sending for return.
If you're sending a C4 (A4 size) envelope with a 10x8 photo, a bit of not-too-thick card to stop it getting bent, letter and return envelope, it's going to be about 80g, up to 100g from the UK to the US is currently £1.82, but it's going up in a couple of months. To get it back you need just under $3 in stamps.
Unfortunately, the USPS postage website is incredibly hard to navigate and understand (although slightly easier than the Royal Mail one, probably). Equally unfortunately, without going there when you know what you're sending and knowing the approximate weight of the return envelope, the answer is the same as the length of a piece of string.
Good luck.

I have been using C5 envelopes so what size envelope would you suggest i need to use for return back to Uk?

A C5 envelope is slightly over the size to be sent at the cheapest rate, so the simple answer is "a slightly or substantially smaller one".
You really do need to go onto the USPS website and figure it out from there, though.
It's about two-thirds of the way down on
