dates?

Unread post by kaz »

Hello,

I was just wondering, if you are sending something via venue how many days before should you send it before it so it arrives on time. The people i am writing to are only there like couple of days so i dont want it to go past the concert date!!

Please help thanks

I think people do different things. I used to try and have it arrive about a week before they arrive to make sure the place has there mail sorted and taken care of before there dates. I wouldnt want to send it too early incase then it got disregarded. Good luck,.

Hi Kaz :P

I would suggest having the letter arrive approximately 3-4 days to a week before the concert begins. Hopefully whomever handles the mail will hold on to your letter and pass it on to the recipient within that time frame.

All the best with your collecting :)

[agree] with nowandagain!

If sending via a concert, you should send your request so it will arrive there a couple days early! If you write on the envelope "Please hold for...." then you have a better chance of them receiving your letter. Just remember not to send it too early or there will be the chance of your request getting lost or even thrown out!

As for sending via a movie set, you can send it at any time during filming and I would say about a week before filming as actors tend to go to the set a few days early to prepare themselves. There's always ton of things for actors to do, which is also another reason for them to go before filming actually begins.

Hope that helps!

I agree. 3-4 days before the event should be fine.

Good Luck Kaz.

No problem kaz :P

I'm pretty sure that Larisie meant for you to write "Please hold for.... (name of who you're sending the letter to)"

You can put the concert date on the envelope if you want.

Good luck
