How do I attach Foreign Postage to a SASE?

Hello I am new here and have a question about how to figure out postage for a self addressed stamped envelope.

I have DVD Inserts which I want to send to a variety of actor/actoresses and have returned to me. I understand the what to put where and how to find addresses etc. What I can't seem to figure out os postage. I am mailing from Canada to mostly the USA, sometimes overseas. How do I attach foreign postage to get my envelopes back to me??

Any help here would be appreciated.

Hi Dan

Go to the relevant country's postal service website and calculate the return postage. Either find some stamps from that country and stick them on the return envelope, or track down some International Reply Coupons (IRC) and put them in with the letter.

In the UK finding foreign stamps is easier than finding IRCs, but you can probably order them through the Canadian post office's website. You'd have to wait for someone else to help you with how many you need to get something back, (or it may be somewhere obvious on here already), as I don't use them.

Attach the stamps to the upper left-hand corner. It's the universal method for all postal systems that I know of.

You can attach the country it's coming from stamp in the upper right hand corner.
Ex: You mail to "Bob" in the USA, from Canada.
Since Bob is mailing you back from the USA and needs to put US stamps on the SASE, you would put the US stamps on the SASE.
