When other members say they send a photo of a celebrity to them; where do they get that photo from? Do you print them out from the internet? Or purchase them?
(I can understand a book or magazine or a news article or something like that....)
Sorry for the stupidity..... :oops:

Mya, welcome to the forum!!!! :D

Here are some links to a few topics that might help you as you look for photos to send:

Most of the photos that I send out are from magazines.

I would agree with Traves on how to get the pictures off the internet.

Happy collecting,
Mimmi

Hi mya-sphinx :D

Like Traves, I also do a search on the internet for photos of whichever celebrity I am sending a request for. I then resize the image (if required) before burning them on CD (or putting on my USB key) and have them printed at a digital printing lab.

It's actually cheaper for me to do this than to print them out at home.

All the best :P

Lucas42 wrote:Another thing I do is take screen captures of the celebrity in a film. Not everybody can do this, but luckily I can now watch DVDs on the computer, yay! With some versions of PowerDVD and WinDVD or others you can save an image from the film or the making-ofs. They're usually pretty high quality with modern films. Then you can print them out. The advantage of this is that you can choose your own favourite moment from the film, when you think they look best or whatever, to have signed.
Hi Lucas42 {up}

That's a really good point {up}

I did the same thing recently with WinDVD to send a picture to Catherine Tate. Like you said, it is a great way of getting the exact picture you want :wink:

Thanks all!
