US STAMPS - QUESTION?! PLEASE HELP! THANKS!

Okay so I'm in the UK and want to send to someone in the USA, I usually send an IRC to cover the postage cost but I've never seen a response from this person when someone's sent an IRC only when they've sent a SASE.

I have quite a few return envelopes from previous successes from the US which have USA 98 Cents stamps, would it be okay to put these stamps that haven't been cancelled on my SAE ? Would the person still have to go to the post office to send internationally or could they just put it in the mail box?

I'd really appreciate any help on this topic! Thanks!

Could I use Forever Stamps? If I put US Forever Stamps on the return envelope could it just be put in the mail box?

Thanks

You should be fine with just putting U.S stamps on the envelope. They could then be put in the mail and not need to be taken to the post office. You may want to try ordering some from USPS.COM.

As far as using stamps that were not canceled when they were used, it would probably work. The question would be is your personal integrity worth more than the price of a stamp? I value my reputation just a little higher than that.

It's difficult to get US Stamps in the UK, USPS will not ship stamp orders internationally, I'm thinking of getting some US Forever stamps from ebay.
