E-Mail communication with celebs?!?

Unread post by snowstop »

Hello,

I am an nearly superannuated, almost discarded man, living in Sweden. Since I'm a pensioneer I don't have much money left after all expenses each month, to use on my hobby - this hobby that we all share!

I have an idea that I have been thinking on for a time now: I don't have much money to use on postage these days, so I thought to use the idea to write to celebs through their e-mails, contact pages etc, in order to ask for a signed photo.
I know this could be a discutable thing to do. Really I don't want them to pay the photo AND the postage AND stationery in order to please me, even if I know that many celebs wouldn't mind about it at all. Probably this expense is a some sort of PR for some of them, too.

I would like to know how to use FanMail.biz in order to retreive E-mail addresses? I am sure there are loads of them hidden somewhere in it's system. I mean, those celebs who have given out their E-Mail address, and who are happy with getting fanmail by E-Mail, may have their E-Mail addresses listed here.

I would like to know how to retrieve the E-Mails in an easy manner.

Moreover, I would like to know other members thoughts, ideas, successes and failures around this.

For instance, I would like to know whether or not large agency companies like Gersh, Id, etc etc forward E-mail messages to their clients (the celebs) too, that are sent to that companys info@ ... -address.

I thought I could save some money by using the E-Mail method instead. But I'm not sure what's the best thing to do. Let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance,

/snowstop

This site just can't give out email information because they will get flooded with requests for autographs and then not work anyways because of it. You will just have to find the information on your own and if you get lucky with email requests good for you... {up}

Since it is pretty hard to get emails for celebs that actually work, th first thing I would don is google their name and look to see if they have an official website and find a contact section. You can just go through a list of people and look em up and write them a letter through their website. It may or may not work for certain people but good luck {up}

Yeah, due to issue and major abusing in the past we just can't give out email addresses or tips on how to find them. Sorry. :( Several members have been later contacted by celeb's management teams and scolded for giving out the emails and posting them on here.

It takes a LOT of research and time to contact via e-mail and not all celebrities sign via email. jclynch is right, research the person you are a fan of and see if they have an official contact page. Sometimes they will list an agent/manager/representive and you can contact them with your request to see if they do forward to the person you are a fan of.

It all depends how much time you want to spend trying to contact them because email are hard to find.
