I have been looking around the site and I have the lingo down and all of that fun stuff, but how do you know how many stamps to use?
I only plan on sending fan mail within the US only, because IRC's sound like a pain to use. And what is the best envelope to use?
Help is greatly appreciated. {??}

I have no idea why it says that I have been an autograph collector since 2009.
I just set this account up in a hurry last night, a friend was rushing me.
If a mod could change it to 2011 that would be greatly appreciated too. =)

Hiya!!

As for stamps, I use one .44 cent stamp each on the #10 business envelopes (the most common size you get in the mail) and those are good for 4x6 photos. you can also do the same for 6x9 Envelopes as well. I put two .44 cent stamps on my 9x12 Envelopes as those weigh a bit more.

I use security lined ones, so no one can see what's inside. Hope that helps ya, if you have any more qustions fell free to let me know! {up}

Hey Brittle, when your signed in, click on your messages to go to your inbox, then on the left click edit profile. Then you can change it to 2011.

Hope this helps
Chris

The USPS website allows you to enter the weight and check the size of the package - it will then tell you the exact cost of postage. Bear in mind that it's worth adding a few extra cents as postage might go up between now and when they eventually reply!
