Postage for US to Canada...

Unread post by horror66 »

Hi,
I'm wondering what the rate is to send a 9.5 x 12 envelope from the US to Canada... (that's with a picture and letter inside, etc...)

As well, the cost of send a 6 x 9.5 envelope (with pic & letter enclosed). Any help would be appreciated.

I live in Canada and need to know the rate for my SASEs.

you will have to find out how much it weighs, heres the rate that took effect in January for us to canada

1 oz. = .63
2 oz. = .90
3 oz. = 1.15
4 oz. = 1.40
5 oz. = 1.70

just guessing, I say it would be 2 or 3 oz.

Wicked, thanks.

I believe an oz. is an ounce right? I think an ounce is about 30 grams Canadian so I should be alright with two 39 cent stamps for 6 x 9.5 envelope. I like need 3 stamps for the bigger envelope. If that sounds ridiculous- lemme know... I'll have to check the weight at the post office I guess.

I appreciate the reply.

yes its ounce, and Id say your probably right, because it cost me .90 to send a letter and SASE to Canada, and Id say the photo would be about the same weight as my envelope
