Short question (Not worried, just a bit =P)

When I received my first succes TTM, there was some stamp/text on the stamps (on the stamps on my SASE). It says something like "Please PRINT the.." and nothing more. What does it mean? It's on the stamps, and beside it there's the ordinary stamp marking "Royal mail (from uk)" thing :P

hmm, anyone know what Im talking about? I just wondered if there's anything wrong with my stamps which I used on my SASE, or is it a common stamp mark only?

Or could it be "Please PRINT the.... adress"? I wrote my adress by hand and it contains some åä letters, maybe they didn't understand it at once! :P Don't know.

I'm not worried that my letters will get stoped, but still it would be nice to hear what this is :P

I took out my used envelopes from England and I see what you are talking about. It says "Please PRINT the Postcode" My interpretation of this is that you need to include the postcode and make sure it is legible and neat.

Aha I see, thank you! :D

But I did write my post code :? That's a bit strange. But now I know that it's no problems with my stamps or anything like that! :D Thanks!

Hey guys {up}

Yes cernan you are totally correct! It says "Please PRINT the postcode"

It is printed by machine on most "small sized" envelopes. It is just mainly an ink blot to cancel your stamps, and it does change depending on what they want to say. eg At Christmas it said "Have a FIRST CLASS Christmas" :? :)

It doesn't mean you did anything wrong, it is just a 'generic message' to remind people to write the postcode in block capitals. The postcode is usually read by machine to sort the post in the UK, and it has trouble reading script writing (ahh bless :wink: )

Remember in the UK to write the postcode/zip like: WC2 9TP (keep the machines happy! :lol: )
