type of envelopes to use self seal or gummy/lick ones?

Which type of envelopes do you use self seal or gummy / the ones you lick ? Lol

I use the ones you lick, but I just tape mine shut and I've found celebrites will do the same when they send the SASE back. Keeps the seal from sticking to your photos. The self-sealing ones are nice too, but they cost a bit more money wise.

The glue on self-seal envelopes goes off after a while - I've ended up with a huge box which don't stick any more. I use those on the outward journey and glue the flap down.
For the reply envelope I always use peel and seal, they are a bit more expensive but the glue lasts a lot longer.
I hate licking gummed envelopes and I wouldn't expect someone I was writing to to enjoy it either, so I don't use them.

I relly hate licking them to they taste bloody awful , think there is a gap in the market for flavoured letters
