Help A Beginner out?

Hi, I'm new to the hobby of autograph collecting and I've heard everyone say that they print their pictures out from Google at a store like wallmart or wallgreens. I tried this and i printed out about 15 pictures I wanted to send out to get autographed and out of the 15 only about 3 came out good some came out ok and the rest are really blurry and you can see little squares on them (I don't know what that is). I was just wondering what I am doing wrong that my pictures are coming out in such bad quality. Any help?? Thanks.

I guess all you need to do is to get bigger pictures (no matter what size you are printing them). If you searching in Google images, choose size preference "Big". Little squares means that picture was in a bad quality even before printing. Inspect pictures before printing carefully.
