Will a 76 Stamp get to the UK?

I asked at the PO for "a stamp to get a letter to USA, and one to get it back?"
but i'm not sure as when i sent to Adam Young he put his own stamp on it aswell... so does anyone know?

It costs $1.05 now to send anything to the UK under the 1 ounce limit. so .76 cents would not cover it. so you'll need to add at least two .76 stamps to cover the cost.

Ah dammnit, thanks anyway Ryan.
But still, the post office people here in England are dopey.

Do you mean the 76p stamp from Royal Mail? Those don't work here, whether you put one, two or a hundred.
