Can I use unstamped stamps again

Hey everyone :)

I recently received two letters from the US, both with unstamped stamps (sorry if this should not be the correct English expression^^).
My question is: Can I use them again (e.g. for a SASE from the US to me)? They look as if they were new, absolutely no sign of a postmark.

Image (example)

If so, how can I remove the stamps from the letter? With normal German stamps, I put them into warm water and simply wait for the glue to come off.
Does that also work with US stamps (self-sticking, adhesive) or would this damage them?

Thanks for you help :)
xx

You can reuse them if you can get them off in one piece lol Water wont work with self sticking stamps you will just have to try to carefully peel them off which isnt easy...They usually rip.

I have already used stamps again which had no marks on them.
But let me ask just a question - Did you cross out the number in the right top corner? Normally it isn't . That could be an indication that it is devaluated.

I posted this photo over at the Collecting TTM page, you might want to look at it before reusing stamps.
