Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help, I want to send a autograph request to someone in the US, but Royal Mail says they no longer sell IRCs is there anywhere else I can buy them or another way of going about it without the IRCs.

Hi! Don't buy International Reply Coupons, they're hard to find and overpriced. Buy U.S dollars from the post office and use them! It's worked for me many times! It's the best way to do it unless you buy U.S stamps from a member on here.

Do you mean you put us dollars in the envelope?? if so how much??

Yes! I normally put 2-3 dollars in each request

I'm assuming you live in the UK? if so, you can purchase $1.05 'airmail' stamps which is what we here in the USA use to mail things to the UK.

Thank you mate, appreciate it, now i know exactly what to tell my brother to get. $1.05 stamps. I assume like in the UK you can buy the stamps from supermarkets and news stands?

Yes! here in the USA, there's several places where people can purchase stamps. I work for a post office and have a lot of those $1.05 ones in our office.

Thanks for the info, the person I want to request an autograph for has said to provide a envelope big enough for a 8x10 photo do you know how many stamps I would need to buy for this.

Three is what you'll need for them to send you a 8x10 photo from the USA to the UK.

Cool, thanks alot for the help I thought I wasn't gonna be able to sort this issue out. Now I can think about writing my request and hopefully buy the stamps soon.
