How do moderators check if an address is still up to date?

Hi all, I was just curious about this. Do the moderators actually confirm this address with the other party or do they do an extensive search of some sort? Because I wonder if my fan mail has been delivered to Sesame Workshop.

We usually check up with the agency companies to see which actors and actresses are still with the former agency or have switched!!! The address for the Sasame address is up to date, it should arrive back to you asap!!!
