How much in total should a sent 8x10 cost?

Hey everyone. I plan on doing a bulk send-out of photos to a bunch of celebrities. I've tried it once before but messed up.

But can someone explain to me what exactly I need to send? I'm not good with the terminology (SASE, IRC, etc.) so if you spell it out to me or explain it that'd be greatly appreciated.

But I figure I need 2 envelopes, 1 picture (which is $1.25 printed), and a number of stamps. But can someone tell me how much it should cost so I know I'm not forgetting anything? I also live in New York and am not sending out of the country - just to California and NY.

Two 9x12 envelopes, 1 8x10 photo, and a fan letter = $1.12

One of the envelopes is the outer envelope...it should contain your photo, fan letter and an SASE - which is a self-addressed stamped envelope). That is the other envelope. A self-addressed stamped envelope has your name and address as the addressee and has enough postage on it so the celebrity can return your photo to you without cost to them.

An IRC is an international reply coupon which is only used if you are sending autograph requests outside the US.
