i sent my own photo to the address in the database, and wondered how long does it usually take to recieve it back.

With actors and actresses from a tv series it's always hard to say how long a letter will take since they always decide to read or go throught their fan mail at all different times.

But from what i have seen on the boards on fanmail and from friends letters to the LOST cast take anywhere from 1-6 months to return back to you!!

As Chrissy says, it's always difficult to estimate the reply times depending on the different actresses or actors you've written to.

I know one fellow collector who waited 3 years just to get Letita Dean's (Sharon from Eastenders) autograph!

Just hang in there. I've written to about 5 actors from LOST, all of whom have been succesful. And I've had to wait usually around 3 months.

Sending your own photo increases your chance of recieving a genuine autograph and not a pre-print so good choice on that!

The time it takes to receive an autograph from anyone can vary a lot. Sometimes you'll be lucky and get it back in days or weeks, other times it could take months or years.

It's just a matter of you being patient enough to wait until you receive something back (which you hopefully will!)

As Chrissy said, a time period of 1-6 months sounds reasonable for the Lost cast. You may be lucky enough to get it back sooner than you think.

In many instances sending a photo can increase your chance of getting an authentic autograph back (such as those who don't sign unless you actually send something.) However, there are some celebrities who rarely sign TTM altogether - they may return your photos unsigned with a PP, or worse still - have a secretary sign the photo, have the photos Autopenned or even stamped

When I sent to the Lost cast, the majority of them sent back within a month or two. But, there were some that took much longer like my Josh Holloway success that took 450 days. I think that one must of been lost though (no pun intended).
