Do Not Bend?

Okay, I am ready to send out my very first batch!! Most are 8"X10" photos and I wrote "DO NOT BEND" on the SASE. However, my mailbox is small, I don't think it can fit in there without bending. What do you guys do? Did you rent out a PO Box? Do the mailmen out them on your doorstep instead of jamming the 8"X10"'s in the mailbox? It to a lot of work and research to prepare my first batch so I don't want it ruined D:

If u put a piece of cardboard in the envelop it will keep it from bending

But will that not fit in the mailbox?

Well you can either rent a larger sized P.O. box at your post office, or simply upgrade to a larger mailbox. I have a HUGE one where you can actually lay 9x12 envelopes flat on the bottom, so plenty of room. Below is a photo of what it looks like. & yes! those are indeed 9x12 envelopes.
also for what it costs to rent a P.O. box for a year, you could buy a new and larger mailbox like this one for life!

My regular postman is pretty courteous and leaves the Do Not Bend envelopes at my doorstep, but you get the occasional one who just shoves it into the mailbox and because of that I have a couple bent magazines and photos. I like Ryan's suggestion of buying a larger/more practical mailbox.
