Sending Letter to France

I live in the USA and I am sending a letter to France. What kind of stamps do I use? And where do I buy them?
Do you mean on your letter TO France or what stamps they need to send it back?
TO France is at least a 1.05 stamp. You can get them at your post office.
FROM France you need French stamps or an IRC. IRCs you can get from the post office as well but I often don't send anything for postage. But that could mean you don't get a responce.
