Northern Ireland to UK

I'm from the USA and I'll be going to Northern Ireland in the summer, but not UK. I was thinking that it would save me money to send from Northern Ireland to UK rather than from USA to UK. I know that Northern Ireland is a part of the UK, but does anyone know how much postage I would need to do this. I'm looking for the cheapest way possible, maybe 2nd class or surface mail.
Thanks!!!

Cheapest way would be 2nd Class Mail. £0.60 for letter (or 6x4), £0.69 for Large Letter (up to A4).
There are size and weight limits- for 6x4 Large Letter rate may apply, but 8x10 would go LL anyway and would be more than thin enough not to go on the next pricing band.
You can find the info
here.
If you hadn't already thought of it, would also be a great opportunity for you to stock up on UK stamps

NI and England have the same ones so would be no problem using them for England addresses. Get the ones that say "2nd" on them as they are just like US Forever Stamps, when the prices go up they are valid for the new higher rate.
