Hi,
I was just checking if I still had to send IRC's if I was sending something to Canada from America...I didn't know if USA stamps would work just because Canada and America are so close and what not (obviously I know they are two separate countries)

You can use US stamps to send to Canada. A 1 ounce normal envelope will be 2 US stamps. I think the two countries have a agreement that you can use US and canadian stamps to send to each other. But you cannot use US stamps for Canada to US

Thank you very much for your help! So just to clarify- If I want to send a SASE to a celeb in Canada, in order for my autograph to get sent back from Canada to America I should still send IRC because Canada to America postage does not work.

Mail needs postage from their country of origin. Therefore, something coming from Canada would need Canadian stamps. IRCs can be used in place of stamps if you can't get them.

You will need Canadian stamps for the return envelope to get back to you in America.
Try looking on the Canada Post website:
http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/persona ... stamps.jsf
http://www.canadapost.ca/shop/personal/ ... ution=e1s1
I ordered some to be delivered to me in the USA and they came very quickly.
For Canada to US you need the $1.05 stamps.
You could also use IRC's for the return envelope if you wish.
I hope this helps you
