Sending to New Zealand

For my friend's birthday I want to get a autograph from Martin Freeman, I am planning to send it VV to the set of 'The hobbit'. What stamps should I use on the return envelope. Also I'm very new to getting autographs so can someone please talk through what I should do so I don't get it wrong.
