Return Address on SASE?

I am sending a record to a musician to have him sign it, from Canada to U.S. If I were to put my name and info as the return address, and the destination address of course, on the SASE, would I still get the package? I mean, just so the artist doesn't have to pay postage, could it eventually reach me, and I could just pay the extra postage? If that makes sense...

It depends... I know I do for all my domestic mail requests...

but international? probably. but the artist may not bother if there is no postage to be honest.
