When I send out letters, it's usually just a LOR, one photo, and the envelope that I send those things in. How many stamps should I put on the envelope?

What size is the envelope and where are you sending it to?

Do you live in the US? Because then it should only be 3-4 stamps I think

I always use 3 stamps unless I send 4 or more 5x7 pics, then I send 4. 3 will be fine for you!

I dont live in America so I don't know but are you sure you need four stamps? because I live in England and when I send a request to America on my SASE I put on 4 stamps and it always gets back fine with no additional postage to be paid

I am in the US and when I send a 9x12 envelope to another address in the US I only put 2 stamps on it (0.90 cost). Sometimes it weighs more than one ounce if they send more then one photo or add cardboard and it is an additional 0.20 per ounce.
