A Little Help

I am really sorry if this is in the wrong section. I read the tips thread but it didn't quite answer what I wanted. I've not written a fanmail letter since I was about 13/14 years old and I'm now 24. I don't know much but I'm sure a 24 year old's fan letter is different to a 14 year old's letter. Any-one got any help in what I can write and such?

Example of how a 14 year old me would write:

"Dear Actor or Singer I really like,

I know you must get a lot of letters like this but you are my idol....""

I don't know what you are exactly asking but I usually write

Dear Mr./Ms. Celebrity
Intro: say things about yourself
Body: why you are a fan
Closing: Thank you for blah blah blah. Good luck blah blah blah
