how long it can take?

Hi

I sent out today a letter to Barbra Streisand from Estonia (it is in Europe :D ) and I'm wondering how long it could take for me to receive the answer from her? Approximately? From feedback I can see that for people who live in USA it takes pretty short time. But what about Europe, can anyone tell?

Hi Sirje {up}

Welcome to the forum :P

It shouldn't really matter where in the world you live as airmail postage to anywhere isn't longer than about a week at the most.

It really depends on how long it takes Ms Streisand to sign for you :wink: If she is available when your letter arrives I would think you should have your reply in about the same time as US writers.

By the way, did you send an SASE? It can often increase your chances :wink:

Good luck!

Yes, I did send SASE and IRC.

I'm just really impatient :mrgreen:

I know the feeling! But that comes with autograph collecting I'm afraid! :mrgreen:

I have to agree with that one.

TheCollector is right. It all depends on the availability of the celebrity and when they get your letter. I am not patient either. But recently I find that I have been getting one autograph back a week, usually on Monday's. So that is a great start to the week. :D

Good luck in getting Barbara's autograph {thumb2}

If you are impatient in waiting for your autograph requests here's a quick tip:

1. Send it and forget about it!

After you send off your letters try and forget about them! It may be hard but you won't be running down to your mailboxes every hour. Then when the letter does arrive back, you're in for a big surprise!
