I love his Vampire Earth series...
and do not think vampires like we know now...

Emily Giffin does. She wrote Something Borrowed which was turned into a movie with Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson.

Jackie Collins send out an autograph if you contact her via her website.
I suppose it depends what kind of authors you like.
