I think this belongs in Collecting Help :) I wouldn't advise sending cash - I've sent stamps on a few occasions, without an envelope. No responses yet, but they were recent, so...

Hello there!!

Sending money isn't the wisest thing to do as you may lose your money or if the postal office notices that your sending money, they may send it back to you. I would recommend sending an IRC, which you may purchase at the post office!! If you can't send a IRC or SASE, and want to risk it, then i would suggest sending a one dollar bill and not change.

Hope that helps

Hi angie_xox_babi {up}

Like Piper said, I wouldn't recommend puting cash in your envelope :wink:

You are far safer if you enclose stamps (in the form of a stamped addressed envelope) if you are writing to an address in your own country.

If you are writing outside your own country, then I suggest enclosing a couple of IRCs (international reply coupons) which you can purchase from your post office. These are then exchangable by the celeb anywhere in the world for postage :wink:

Good luck, and I hope this helps a bit :wink:

An IRC is an International Reply Coupon. They are like vouchers for stamps. TheCollector does a really good job of explaining them in detail:

No problem :P

Personally I always do as it definately increases your chance of a positive success.

Some celebs will reply without a SASE, but many will not, so I tend not to take the chance!

My overall answer would be, if you can afford to send one then SEND ONE! :wink:
