Can you get rid of fingerprint stains?

Hi I am Going to be sending my photographs on Monday and looking at them 2 out of 3 of the glossy 6x8 inch seem to have fingerprint stains on them :( and so do some of the 6x4 inch photos I have :( . I am ordered another 6 8x6 inch photos and will be taking extra care with gloves when they arrive :) . I am just wondering because i didn't realize, I thought that fingerprints were just marks and would easily wipe away. The annoying thing is that they seemed to have soaked into the paper itself. When looking at the print normally it looks fine you can just make them out when the photo is tilted towards a bright light source. I am just concerned if they will cause any other damage to the paper if they get signed. I also forgot to mention is there anyway they can easily be removed without damaging the photo. And also as I hope to get some back out of the 8 i am sending can anyone point me towards a website that sells the appropriate wallets so I can store them in if they come back. Thank you, Tyler {up} :D :D.

Are these things which usually happen as the person you want to have them signed by would be handling them or am i just over reacting. I am also glad its not on all my photographs and i will be taking extra care when my new photographs arrive. I wouldn't mind if i had fingerprints from the celeb themselves but just a little annoying.

The fingerprints annoy me also. I use matte or low luster finish because they don't get fingerprints all over them {up}

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I think that I will use matte from now on. I have some glossy pictures coming Monday and i will be wearing gloves to prevent the fingerprints. If i then hopefully get them back I will be putting them in acid free wallets. If they do contain fingerprints at least I know they will be from the people I am requesting them to, kind of a bonus but i will be using matte from now on to stop the fingerprints.

The only way to avoid finger prints is matte finish unfortunately.

I assume there must be something that can minimize/remove finger prints. I just havent invested the time to find out what it is yet.
