Hello Forum - members
I´m from Germany
![Germany [germany]](./images/smilies/flag_germany1.gif)
and I heard it´s better to use stamps from the country (where I send my request) than IRC. Is that right?
Where can I buy (american - for example) stamps?
Thanks

Hello Bierber
I am from Canada and I buy my US stamps from usps.com by going to the store. They will mail to different countries. Another source would be ebay.
I hope this helps

Hi Bierber
It can be much easier to use stamps on your SASE if your sending to another country as opposed to using the IRC. The most obvious example would be cost - it's much cheaper to stick stamps on from the relevant country than to send an IRC.
Like mkainsworth said, you can buy the stamps online from usps.com or eBay. However, if you know someone that lives in the US or knows someone that is going to visit the US, perhaps you could ask them to buy and send them to you. The same thing would apply if you required stamps for other countries.
Good luck!
