Does anyone else do this? I'm always paranoid something will happen and it won't be sent back to me so I always write my address where the celebrity's address would go.

I always do it to prevent any possible postage issues. Say the SASE needs a little more postage, there would be no burden on the signer. Plus, I use it as a safety precaution, considering most postal workers probably recognize a celebrity's name on an envelope and you never know when the mail could be handled by someone "interested". Never had any problems

Wow, I've never thought of that before! I usually just use the address I'm sending to...but there are exceptions. Like VV, since the celeb might take the mail elsewhere. Sometimes I leave it blank. But lately I've been writing a lot of initials + address - that way it keeps celeb names (that could be recognizable like the above poster said) off the envelope. Not sure what I did a few months ago.

Basically, I write an address because I'd like to know who it's from and what could be inside, before I try opening (and possibly damaging the contents).

i always write the celebs full name on it..

I usually write the last name of the celebrity on the back of the SASE and use my address as the return address as well! Thanks for your opinions, guys! This is interesting
