a few questions

Unread post by JenniferK »

hi guys, I'm new here.
I read a lot of topics and have a few questions left.

1. If you send an envelop with a letter / photo, is your envelop bigger than the one that returns? of do you fold the return envelop?

2. If you send your own photo what size does it need to have? Or is that personal?
I have some out of magazines and I printed some at home.

3. We don't have IRC anymore, so i want to send cash. How much do i need to put in for the UK?
Is there like a website where you can find the costs?

4. I started writing my letter (by hand) and I saw some examples, are there any dont's??

5. I read that some people asked for a personalised autograph and some don't. What is the chance of that happening?
Cause I'm only sending to the celebs that I like, and I'm not going to sell them. Not now and not in the future.

I hope you guys can help me, so I can start sending my letters and let the waiting begin!!

1. Usually it is but you may fold your SASE in your envelope. I do that sometimes if I do not have bigger envelopes than that.
2. It doesnt matter about the size as long as it fits in your SASE
3. 2-3 dollars is a good amount to send to the UK and to find out prices go to your country's post offices website
4. Always be polite by saying please and thank you. When asking for an autograph don't demand like saying you have to give me one because I'm your biggest fan.
5. You have a 50/50 chance. If you definitely want to get it personalized I put a post it note on the letter or back of the picture so that way the celebrities can read it and go "okay they want it personalized." Usually celebs don't have time to read all the letters at once so they usually sign it and go on to the next.

If you have any questions then shoot me a PM
