I am from the USA and plan on sending out a few requests to the UK. I was wondering if it is better to include IRCs or a few dollars with my request. Which has the higher success rate?

Also, how much/many stamps does it take to send a normal envelope, or do you have to bring it to the post office?

depends on the size of the envelop and how much it weighs.. ive been able to get a 9x12 with a picture a letter and a SASE to the UK on three 45cent forever stamps
