Via Venue Question. When to Send it.

I have yet to send to a concert venue for an autograph. How long before the date of the concert should I mail it? I was figuring at least 5 days. Does anyone out there who has experience with Via Venue have a better suggestion? The concert date is Oct 10th. So I was guessing around the 4th (including the weekend)?? Thanks to anyone who replies.

If you live in the country where the concert is being performed, then I would send it 5 working days before the concert. If you live out of the country, then I would send 7 working days before the concert.
*P.S. write "Please hold until (date of concert)" on the envelope.

It is also helpful to email the venue (if possible) and ask if they will pass the mail onto the performer.

when sending vv i usually send a couple weeks in advance, and i contact the venue first to make sure they pass on fanmail, you can visit their official website and there should be a contact button if you have any question i also visit this link for venues who do and dont pass on fanmail...
