I think the best way to approach this would be to have one of you write back to Skandar (it doesn't matter - you can choose) but don't mention the previous letter.
I think it would be a good idea to send a photo (although optional) with this second request out of courtesy rather than having to request a second one (don't forget your SASE's.) It's just fair for Skandar as you have already received one.
Ultimately, it's up to you how you wish to go about this.
