Production status of a movie...

Unread post by tanda »

What is the best production status a movie has to have to get my letter to a celebrity who's playing in it: pre-production, production or filming?

If anyone can answer this question, please let me know! Thanks in advance!

It's best to send just before they start filming so your request is there when they arrive. Sometimes it is hard to figure that out but look at articles on the film: most the time they say something like, "Filming starts at the end/middle/beginning of (month)." Be careful, if you send too early, like in pre-production, shooting could be delayed for any reason and your letter gets misplaced.
