Does anybody no how to put a profile pic next to your name?

Hi! Sorry to bother you, but can you please tell me how to put a profile picture next to your name when you post a comment? I think you just go to your profile and hit edit avatar but when I put in how many "Pixels" I dont no how big I'm suppost to make it. I tried like 5 x 5, 10 x 10, 15 x 15, 20 x 20, 100 x 100 and it wouldnt work.

Image needs to be:

width: 100 pixels
height: 100 pixels
file size: 6.00 KB (maximum)
