Another VV Question...

This is probably a really DUMB question but will sending out of state VV work as well or will it ruin my chances? For example, I live in PA but all the bands I'm interested in sending to VV only have concert dates in UT, CA, FL, etc. I was just wondering if I were to send VV out of state, it would work? I know about emailing the venues ahead of time, and I don't mind waiting a little while for a reply.

There is no reason why out of state VV requests may be successful

I do VV in other countries with success

No, it wouldn't ruin your chances.

Just make sure you send your letter before the concert date - and write on the envelope to "please hold for [whatever band you're writing to] until [the date the band performs]" - and you should be fine.

Why would sending out of state ruin any chance of getting your success?

If anything would ruin your chance, it would be:

*They didn't like your letter. LOL!
*It didn't get passed to them @ the arena.
* They just don't like doing fan mail.

It won't ruin your chances AT ALL.
