Welcome to the forum!
It's not a stupid question at all. All the abreviations can get pretty confusing until you get used to them.
A SASE is a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope.

A SASE is a "self addressed, stamped envelope." It is an envelope you include with your request addressed out to yourself with enough stamps to have it sent back to you. You send it out with your request to make it easier for the celebrity to return something back to you in your envelope. A SSAE is the same thing (stamped, self addressed envelope.)
FYI: a SAE is similar (self addressed envelope) but you only address the envelope to yourself and do not stick postage stamps on it. In most instances you would send a SAE when you include IRC's and send your request overseas.
