If having send several letters to a Celeb but not sure if he got to read them, would it be crazy to send it to her wife asking to pass it to him? Thanks!

It depends I guess. I don't know who this person is you are writing about. But some celebs and their family sign autographs together (Fanning sisters,Helen Mirren and hubby recently) although it makes me wonder if it's an sec sometimes.
If the wife of the person your are writing is also an celeb/actor/singer you could try to write an letter to both of them, starting with the wife, tell them how much you like their work etc. If they did an project together mention it etc. Also write an paragraph about the husband's work. Then include an photograph of the wife and an red carpet photo of the wife and celeb husband together. At the end of the letter you can ask that if it's possible if both the wife and celeb can sign.
Its a long shot but if you really like both of them and write a good letter they might. Also research if it's likely that the celebs are near each other. If wife is on set in the US and hubby is currently in not it might not work. Secondly: if the wife is not an celebrity don't write them an letter, since they may not answer or are used to getting fanmail and might throw them out. Thirdly: check out both of their signing habits first.
Being nice is the key. It's not impossible, search the database, it has happened that multiple celebs sign. Don't forget to address the envelope to mrs. Celeb and mr. Celeb.
Good luck!

I agree with Nancy. Firstly, make it about the Wife then bring the husband into it. Don't just write to her saying "Hey can you give this to your husband?" this won't make her feel too good.
